Jan is Vodafone Czech’s Vice President for Legal Affairs & Corporate Security. In his role, Jan ensures smooth execution of company goals and sets tone from the top ensuring exceptional compliance and risk-based decision-making. As people manager, he promotes extreme ownership based on individual accountability and empowerment. As legal disruptor, he challenges old-school interpretation of laws and regulations holding back technology development, prefers taking risk to doing nothing, and disrespects lawyers unwilling to share risk with internal customers.

 

Jan is a Fellow Member of the U.K. International Compliance Association, Certified Fraud Examiner at the U.S. Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Member of the Board at the Association of Critical Infrastructure of the Czech Republic, Member of the Academic Board of the Czech Compliance Academy and Member of a think tank Rozumné právo. In his free time, he works on his dissertation and teaches at the University of Economics and Business in Prague.
